12/15/2023 0 Comments Frodo toes![]() In History of Middle-earth it's stated that originally Rumil (this is a friend of Feanor) wrote the Annals of Aman, which ends when Fingolfin sets foot upon Middle-earth. This is also pointed out by Christopher in the Foreward to Silmarillion where he stated his father conceived Silmarillion to be a Mannish Myth. In Myths Transformed (from Morgoth's Ring) Tolkien explicitly states Men have heavily changed and confused the lore of the Eldar and written their false accounts as facts into Silmarillion. Silmarillion is an Elf written book passed down to Men. There are other Tolkien-themed subreddits out there!
